We would like to welcome Mr. G. Fleming to our staff as Deputy Principal
I feel lucky to have been given this amazing opportunity to work as a Deputy Principal at Hartstown Community School. I have been abroad for seventeen years and it feels great to finally return to Ireland. I left home in 2000 to attend university at St Marys’ College in Strawberry Hill where I studied Sports Science and Management Studies and then a PGCE in PE. I worked for four years as a PE teacher in Greenford High School in West London before spending three years teaching in international schools in Hong Kong and Istanbul. From there I moved back to the UK as Head of Boys’ Achievement and as Assistant Principal in two Inner London Schools. It is a great time to return to Ireland and I look forward to working with the incredibly hardworking staff and talented students here at Hartstown
