Ski Trip 2019

HCS / News / Ski Trip 2019

Dear Student / Parent ,

We are delighted to announce the launch of our 2nd School ski trip to you for February 2019. Our last ski trip in 2017 was a huge success, where we had 36 students, many of whom called it the best time of their lives.

Our next ski trip will again be in Italy, this time on the slopes of Folgaria in the Alps three hours from Milan Airport. It will consist of 5 nights accommodation with breakfast and dinner included, full ski hire, ski passes, bus transfers, holiday travel and accident insurance and 4 hours ski lessons per day in the local ski school. All students will be more than capable skiers by the end of the trip. There will also be plenty of evening fun activities organised by the staff and Topflight Reps including ice skating, team fun competitions, game challenges and a disco/karaoke night.

The total cost of the trip will be 970euro spread across 5 payments from now until next January 2019. We are limiting the trip to approx. 40 students so if you are interested a non-refundable deposit of 170euro will be required as soon as possible to secure your place, subject to consultation with year heads about your general behaviour in the school.

We plan to fly out from Dublin airport at the start of the mid term break on Thursday evening February 14, 2019 and return on Tuesday 19th of February. We will be staying in the Alpine village of San Sebastiano on the outskirts of Folgaria only 5 minutes from the slopes.

On payment of the deposit you will be required to present your valid passport number, if possible, and also over the next few months obtain a European Health Insurance Card.

We are aware that the cost of the holiday is an amount but we have tried our best to get the best possible deal during this high season. Previous students have used the holiday costs as part of the birthday and christmas gifts and obviously have saved themselves and helped contribute over the year.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Kevlihan, Mr. Farrell
